Preparing for my trip to India and Nepal

Noch 10 Tage bis zum Abflug. Jeden Tag werden Dinge gepackt, das Netbook installiert, Listen geschrieben, neue Ausrüstung gekauft. Jeder um einen herum weiß noch eine grausame oder verrückte Geschichte über Indien, die Menschen, die heiratswilligen Männer, die unterschiedlichen und nicht nachvollziehbaren Religionen und den Gestank und Dreck. Aber zum Glück gibt es auch noch Menschen die dort schon gewesen sind und dies auch überlebt haben und einem sinnvolle Tips geben können und die Panik der anderen relativieren können. Somit bleibt dann doch noch genug Zeit sich auf all die Erfahrungen und Eindrücke dort zu freuen und selbst gespannt zu sein, wie man denn all sein geplantes Gepäck dort wohl von "A" nach "B" bringen wird. Darüber werde ich dann wohl die nächsten Wochen hier berichten ;o)

All the people around me, myself included :p, are acting like real freaks when the topic comes to India and Nepal. Everybody wanna tell me some cruel stories about the food, the men, the religion, the lack of sanitation... People are telling me what to take with me, which insurance policies to take out and what I shouldn't do in India ;o)
But I am pretty glad that there are also peolpe around that have already been there and are able to ease my stressfull preparation time a bit :) That's why i am still looking forward to meet the people and culture there. I am also pretty exited how I will be able to carry all the stuff I am planning to take with me around. But I think I am going to blog this during the next month, so stay tuned...
